From a decade, stinging nettle is used in Europe. The clinical researches have proved that stinging nettle root can markedly inhibit the symptoms of prostate enlarged prostate.
Nettle mode of action is to prevent binding of testosterone-related proteins with their receptors attacked to membranes of prostatic cells.
You can use stinging nettle in many forms; it is available as dried leaf, tea, or root tincture (which is a solution of the herb soaked in alcohol). You can also buy stinging nettle extract in the form of capsules.
The recommended dosage for BPH is 120 mg of concentrated root extract in capsules taken twice daily.

The Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) for Vitamin E is 15 mg (22.4 IU) per day. Nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, green leafy vegetables and fortified cereals are excellent nutrient sources of vitamin E.
