I read your message and understood your question.

Diet is very important in maintaining a good health, a long life and controlling and preventing the diseases.

Base your meals on fresh foods and try to take your meals at home by preparing by yourself.

This will make it easier for you to count the calories you take and the amount of food in your dish.

First thing, that must be added in the diet to control enlarged prostate is anti-oxidant fruits and vegetables. Anti-oxidants reduce the inflammation and strengthen the immune system.

Vegetables rich in vitamin C like red bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and beta carotene-rich foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, dark green leafy vegetables must be added to your dishes.

Look for orange, deep yellow and red color fruits for example apricots, mangos etc.

You can mix all the above and create your own salads. Be careful with the salad dressings. Use olive oil, lemon juice, salt and spices as you like.

Cheese is not a reccomended diary food. But you can add seeds as you like for example walnuts or pumkin seeds in an strawberry and spinach salad dressed will olive oil, honey, salt and lemon juice.


Being creative in your own dishes and exploring your taste for food will help you maintain a propper diet by enjoying your time and satifaction.

Take less fatty nutrients and raise the fibers you take every day. All the lentils are useful. Red meat, whole milk, and fried foods must not be used as they increase the inflammation.


Black beans, kidney beans, brussels sprouts, peas, turnips, apples, apricots, dried figs may give you the high amounts of fibers you need.

Take omega 3 by adding to your diets some spices of fish such as salmon, mackerel, and herring. Also, flaxseeds, and walnuts are rich in omega 3 fatty acids which reduce inflammation and keep your heart and vessels healthy.

Consume only whole-grain foods such as brown rice and oatmeal. Avoid white bread and usual rice.

Always bake and boil, do not fry your food.

Drink water as much as you can and avoid caffeine and alcohol as they worsen the inflammation of the prostate. Quit smoking if you can.
