Premarin is a rich on estrogen drug and that’s why it has significant effect on the blood glucose. It is recommended to blood test yourself regularly to monitor your blood glucose.
Estrogens have negative impact on the lipid profile. The total cholesterol levels are increased. The same things go for the triglycerides levels.
However, Premarin is shown to increase the HLD levels by 16%, which is good because HDL is considered the “good” cholesterol, and a protective factor in heart diseases. On the other hand, LDL levels are decreased by 15%.
