What really causes the symptoms of enlarged prostate?

Normally in the male urinary reproductive system, the urine passes from the urinary bladder to the urethra, any enlargement in the prostate can definitely prevent the passage of urine via the urethra.

As the cells of the prostate increase in number, they will press the urethra, and gradually close the pathway through which semen and urine come out from the body.

While narrowing of your urethra occurs, the contraction of your bladder will become more aggressive to introduce urine effectively out of your body.

By time, the muscle band surrounding the bladder will become more sensitive, and stronger; the muscles will start to contract to push even smaller amounts of urine.

This causes you to feel that you need to urinate more frequently. Finally, the muscles of the bladder fail to empty the bladder completely, and some urine will be left behind.
