QUESTION: What is the role of prostanorm in the treatment of premature ejaculation and difficult erection?




ANSWER: Hi Mohammed,

First, let me explain that premature ejaculation and difficult erection are problems related to genital organs.

There are many factors contributing in their appearance as following:

- What is your actual age? Such problems are worsen with passing of time.

- Do you have urinary tract infection?

- Do you have enlarged prostate or prostatitis?

- Are you a diabetic?

  • Now, as I do not have such data, I can only say that Prostanorm is not a drug but a herbal supplement.

    - Saw Palmetto extract, which is known for its ability to inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha reductase.

    Thus, testosterone (male hormone) is not transformed into dihydrotestosterone (the more potent form).

    Its action is described to be equally potent with the drugs that inhibit the same enzyme, but with less side effects.

    In addition, saw palmetto can directly inhibit the receptors of the male hormones and has also anti-inflammatory characteristics.

    As a conclusion, saw palmetto can ease the BPH and urinary tract problems and shrink the prostate gland.

    Pygeum Extract - The ingredients inside Pygeum help shrink the prostate gland; thus relieving related urinary problems (poor urine flow & nocturia).

    Stinging Nettle Extract - With its ability to prevent binding the testosterone-related proteins with their receptors in the membranes of prostatic cells, stinging nettle can help relieve urinary problems in men.

    Zinc Gluconate - Although a trace mineral, Zinc plays a crucial role in several cell processes such as growth, differentiation, apoptosis (death), and building the immune system as well.

    Therefore, men with enlarged prostate and inflamed prostate problems should increase the intake of zinc in their diet.

    we ethiopians are lucky to see this drug ,the only option was surgery but now prostanorm with loss of libido
